In conventional warfare the military, forces will be divided into echelons. The typical battlefield commander will have 2 echelons, usually 2/3 of his fighting elements, in the front and one fighting element in reserve. These first 2 echelons are the building blocks of any conventional force.
Calling ourselves, “Third Echelon” we are suggesting that we are in the business of arms but we sit outside of the conventional. We are an unconventional gun business. We innovate and challenge the status quo. We dare to be different.
A traditional gun business gets their cookie cutter guns from an importer, they get the exact same optic lines as the next guy and they sell away. The conventional gun businesses are important but there is no creativity, no engineering and no being different. Third Echelon Design believes there is room for different. We stock different we operate different, we design different.
3E is a new company (formed in 2020) but it is made up of veterans of the gun industry with soldiering, manufacturing and engineering backgrounds.
